Okay so I was reading about this new journalism prize that was just established in memory of Joe Drennan, who was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident. I swear, it's crazy how life can change in an instant, right? (I mean, I was just making toast and it hit me - not literally, because that would be weird - but you know what I mean).
Anyway, the University of Limerick and The Irish Times announced this award, which is pretty cool. It's for third-level students across Ireland, so if you're a student with a passion for journalism, you should totally check it out. I was trying to find more information about it, but apparently, the details are only available in paid plans, which is kind of frustrating (I mean, who doesn't hate paywalls, am I right?)
